This is a stupid question ... but i 've my search in vain over the net trying to find out why my server using a backup solution is freezing when reaching 132 process ... even if it is a bi-proc with 2 Go of memory ...:-/

*sorry my english is not very good

Thanks for any informations ...

Do a search for process monitor, it's a freebie on the net. It might show the problem. Maybe not the number of processes, but a specific process. I had this problem when an older version of cad was loaded on the server. Process monitor showed which process hung it up, so I contacted tech support, and they told me to upgrade and get the latest patches. (Seems like the upgrade had been sent to the head engineer a year ago, but he failed to tell me.) Works fine and I still run process monitor to see if I can tweak the server. Good luck. Glen A.
