I'm in the process of switching from a Novell 3.2 server to a w2k server. I have been configuring the Windows 2000 workstations ahead of time with the domain info so I can eventually just copy everything over, delete the Novell clients on each PC and have everyone log on to the new server. One PC is giving me problems. It is communicating with the new server that the PC is the master browswer. I found the error message in the Event Viewer on the new server. What does this mean and how do I resolve the conflict?

Hi,

- Stop the browser service on said machine
- run regedit
- navigate: HKEY_LM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Browser\Parameters
- change IsDomainMaster to "FALSE"
- change MaintainServerList to "NO"
