MAS90 is written in it's own proprietary language called Providex (PVX). MAS90 was originally written in a language called Business Basic, and migrated to PVX when they went from version 2.0 to version 3.0. A short time later, the company that wrote Providex (Sybex) was bought out by Best/Sage/SOTA and is now Best Canada. You can download a sample copy of the language, along with manuals at
The language implements multiple layers of program security.. one of them being owner codes. The sample version of the language has no access to owner code 90--which is the owner code Best uses for the MAS90 product. As a result, you will not be able to see or modify MAS90 code.
