Is that possbile? Our mktg team uses MACINTOSH systems and I know that you can't use MAS 200 on MACs, which they are fine with but needs to be able to run reports.
What kind of reports? Mas90/Mas200 canned reports or crystal reports or what? Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office
Is the mac a valid Mas200 worktation? Or does it talk to the network at all? I have never heard of this. Software Support for Sage Mas90, Macola, Crystal Reports, Goldmine and MS Office
It seems that you can't use MAS 200 or a lot of softwares are not compatible on MACs without something like CITRIX.
I was trying to see if the MAC can use the ODBC connection b/c the users just want to run reports. But you can the ODBC connection to MAS 200 data files by loading MAS 200. Like running the workstation set-up.
Oh well. Unless you know another way to do that and it can be done.
I posted this issue on the Crystal Reports main forum. maybe there will be a response. I am one of the top experts in that forum, but this is a new one on me.
you could set up a report distribution via email with crystal enterprise or crystal info and email them reports automatically. But we will have to wait and see on the on-demand reports. Hopefully like I said someone out there will respond to my post.
