I am using the Migration Workbench to migrate Access 2k to Oracle 8i and everything up to now is going fine. I have gotten it to where the Oracle Model is created. The next step is to walk through the Wizard to migrate it to the Oracle Database. You need DBA privileges to run this and I do not have those privileges so I understand that. The DBA has already created the schema for me but it appears that what the Migration wizard does is create a new schema. Is there a way to create the Tables, etc. migrate the data without creating a new schema. I Generated the Loader SQL Scripts and Migration Scripts thinking I could just run the scripts manually. I can't get the scripts that were created to run though.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could do this migration to an existing schema without DBA privileges? I have all the other necessary privileges like Create Tables, Stored Procedures.

Thanks
Eric

If you have generated scripts, there's no obvious reason why you couldn't run them manually in whatever schema you want. Possibly there would be minor editing needed to reference the right schema. Why are you unable to run them? What errors are you seeing?
