Maneuver in Device Manager no Mouse

Hi,

This is hopefully not to dumb. I Need to maneuver to device manager without a mouse.

I can get there but I don't know how to get into the window and expand devides, etc.

I want to disable the touchpad but I want to get it back if I don't have a mouse handy.

NUM LOCK+ASTERISK on numeric keypad (*) Display all subfolders under the selected folder.

Once you get to device manager, use the arrows to scroll to the the device type, hit the + key to expand, & enter to accept.
