In article I found out how to manage the switch with the The problem is, now that the switches are in my production rack, I can't ping their VLAN IP, much less manage them. The cable from my computer simply goes up the ceiling, into a patch panel and is patched into the switches. Any ideas?

Info: I have (3) 2950s in a rack cascaded with crossover cables. Their VLAN address is 192.168.1.231 and mine is .121 of the same subnet. Nothing has changed since they were sitting on my desk and I was plugged into port 1.

Thanks for any help.
