Any way to have the NAM record a call in progress? I have a user with a 5.0 MICS and NAM using a PRI. They asked about doing *57 to initiate a trace with Qwest but as I understand it that only works with copper lines. Any ideas?
Yes, the NAM can record calls.
The users COS has to be set to allow it (it is not by default.) Then they just press F989. The recording is then saved as a message in their voicemail box.
The NAM can do call record in feature 989 but you get a recording "this call is being recorded" from it. (not good for malicious calls unless you want to scare them away. If the customer is using cinphony ACD you have recording options.
