Here's the easiest thing to do. Hold the ALT Button and then press this sequence of buttons
FNF
That won't work on the desktop. To create a shortcut for that make a batch file and create a shortcut to it.
Open notepad and copy the BOLD
md C:\windows\desktop\new
cls
Save as New.bat SAve as All Files
Put it somewhere and right click on it.Click on the program tab. Create a Keyboard shortcut using the form.
That's it.
Now you can create a new folder on the desktop too.
The alt fnf hint isn't exactly the kind of shortcut I was looking for though. It's still a sequential keycombination and therefore not that much faster as a mouse-rightclick. I was looking for something like the desktop-solution (which I thank you for) but then something to use in Windows Explorer.
But possibly it's not feasible at all.
And then again it's not that important. I guess I got a bit swept away by the tweaking-thrill.
Of course, if someone has a better solution I'm eager to hear it.
