make: not found

Hi,

I was trying to ues command "make" and "make install" on my sun blade and the error above "make: not found" was shown.

I'm stuck here as I need to install a program.

anyone care to advise how to use the make ?

Hi,

"make" is not in your PATH. Try search the system for "make". OR check "make" program under /usr/ccs/bin.

Yes, I manage to solve that part. but when I wana do a make install it return sh : gcc: not found.

It seem that I do not have a compiler install which is rather strange.

Any advise ?

You can downlog gcc from sunfreeware.com
