Make Mathematic operations between diferent Registers of a database

i'm doing a program for my company about an administration of production hours and i have two problems that i explain it below:<br>First problem: I need to make diferent mathematic operations between many registers of the database, and i don't know how, for example: in every registry i have 5 fields and i have to sum the field number one with the field number one of others registries, and save the result because i have tu use it after. and operations like sums with other fields of each registry.<br><br>Second problem: then after resolve my first problem i have to export my results to excel or ascci file or text file because i have to put them in our company report, and my problem is that i don't know how to make the exportation to excel o text file or assci file.<br><br>Please tell me how i'll&nbsp;&nbsp;do it, which controls or procedures&nbsp;&nbsp;i'll must have tu use.<br>note: i use a database made in access (mdb).<br>Thanks, i hope you can help me, i'll be waiting for your answers, my e-mail is&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<A HREF="mailto:cfyanez@prodigy.net.mx">cfyanez@prodigy.net.mx</A><br><br>note:sorry for my english, i'm still learning
 
you need a crosstab query. this is a very powerful tool with many features, and pretty much beyond the scope of this forum. there are lots of examples in the help. go to the new query wizard, (Query, New) and choose &quot;crosstab query&quot;, which is the third one down.<br><br>to export files, use &quot;file, save as/export&quot; from the menu. the wizard will guide you.<br><br>i'm sorry i can't put this in spanish for you. <p>mr s. <;)<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href= > </a><br>why does it never do what is says it does in the manual?
