Main Greeting 1

We use nortel norstar sustem

We need to change company's greeting.( when you dial the main number--> VM greeting that follows)
I was under the impression that if I chnage the greeting for the general delivery (100) It'll do it.
Do you know what ext is for the main greeting,since 100 nor 301 arent.

Try using FEATURE 983 and logging in then go to the Greetings menu.

Press Feature 983
Enter your system managers mailbox number and the password
(It is usually 102 0000)
Once you are in, Press AA, then press GRTG twice and enter the greeting number you wish to change.

The General Delivery Mailbox is playing what would be a personal type greeting followed by option to record a message only. Setting up greetings in AA allows for many other options, including leaving a message in General Delivery.
