I'm completely lost on this one.

When callers hit the automated attendant and don't have a choice to select, they automatically get routed to the main distribution mailbox. However, they get a prompt, "mailbox full, goodbye". It hangs up. The admin at the office logs in to check the mailbox and it says, "no messages"?

If I connect remotely and check through Norstar ICS Programming Tools, I'm not even seeing a mailbox configured on the main line?

Anybody have any ideas?

If you can look at the mbox on site and get an empty but the callers are reporting a full then you've got to have another mailbox intercepting the calls....

what did happen when you:
a.) dial feature 980 then put in 100
b.) get intercom dial tone and dial ext 100

yu get mailbox full on both?

log into mailbox 100
feature 981 >> othr >> MailboxAndPassword <ok> >> play >> then 8 as you listen to the message to delete the message.

MailboxAndPassword = 1001234

Had a similar problem at a customer.. Had to delete 1287 messages.. Took an hour.. Unfortunately wasn't able to just DELETE the freakin' mailbox (cuz it's one of the special ones)... Another gal had over 500 messages.. That was the easy one.. DELETE then recreate... Immediately turned of GD..

One thing you can try... What type of voicemail is it? If it's a Call Pilot, just go through the web interface and pull up a mailbox report.. You will see which mailbox is full.. If it's a NAM and has a NIC card, use Norstar Voicemail Manager and connect to it.. Default IP is: 192.168.110.10 and the password is the same for Feature 983.

DBrewsky- Even if the GD is disabled, I still don't think you can delete it. I had one with 1550 messages before I finally convinced them to assign mb100 to a set. I don't remember the CP sw rev.

You're right, I couldn't delete it.. The one with almost 500 messages was on the same voicemail as the GD with about 1200 messages, but it was a standard voice mailbox..
