Mailbox special folder - Inbox moved

Dear all,

One of my users accidently moved the Inbox to the Deleted Items folder, I am not sure how this folder was moved in the first place.

I cannot moved this folder back to the root of the mailbox.

This is on Exchange 2000 server not a Personal folder. Is there anyway of moving this Inbox folder back its original location?

I have looked in the MS support site and no joy, also I have tried to use Exchng32.exe to move it, still no joy.

I am relunctant to delete the mailbox and re-created it again.

Any thoughts will be kool.

Try opening Outlook using the /resetfolders switch and that may recreate the inbox. Then you can move the mail to the new Inbox. I hope this works. joegz

Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried that, but still no luck. I have checked other posts relating to this problem and it appears that others get this problem, but none gave a solution.

Any further ideas?
