hello,

I'm a system administrator taking care for about 100 pc's and noticed the following issue:

I have upgraded 2 XP pc's with SP2. Then I noticed when I send an email, the mail stays in Outbox till you click on one of the folders. We use exchange 2000 server and windows 2000 AD and outlook 2002 as client.

I suspect this was because of applying SP2 for XP.

Then I went to a XP PC without SP2. Sending mail was working fine (sent mails left the outbox at once to appear in sent items). Then I apllied SP2 for XP and after this, I noticed the same problem on this PC.

anyone noticed the same ?

Marc

SP2 has not worked correctly since they released it. Get rid of it.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

I have noticed the same problem, and I posted it in the Microsoft forums. NO response has been given.

In my case, the outbox will show the mail but in about 10-15 seconds, the email finally gets sent. If you click on the Outbox, it is immediately sent.

Other than that, SP2 has worked fine!

FYI: I have all XP pro clients and Exchange 2000 SP2
