Hi everyone, please help me with this one.
I'm moving my exchange users from an old server to a new one for better performance. I wanted to do this with 0 downtime, so I'm using a new server name. I set up the new server, installed Exchange 2000 on it, upgraded to SP3. So far I've been successful at moving all the public folders to the new server, and moving one test user by just moving the mailbox. I can log in with OWA, and I'm receiving email on the new server, apparently routed through the old server since I have not redirected any DNS records yet.
My problem is that when I send emails from Outlook, the emails stay in the Outbox and never get sent. However, when I send emails from OWA, the emails send without a problem. The SMTP protocol appears to be working correctly, I can't figure out why it would send fine in OWA, but not in Outlook.
Any suggestions would be most helpful, thanks.
