I am not sure whether this is the correct form for this, but here goes:
I have a table (Course). It holds details of a course including times. I have a form on which you select the course and click on the application form button. This then creates a word document and mail merges the course details into a application form template. THe word document uses a query which pulls out certain fields from the course table depending on what course is selected.
The problem I have is that when the word document is created the time field which is pulled across is displayed as hours:minutes:seconds. I want to drop the seconds but can't see how.
The field setup in the table is Short Time. The query is set to Short Time and the field on the course form is set to short time. So where can I get Word to set the time field to Short Time. Is this a problem in Access or Word.
Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
