Mail Items in outlook dissapear

Items in the Outbox, created when offline, dissapear when returning online.
any one seen this before?

Items in the outbox, should be sent (and moved to sent items) when you go online.

On most Machines that is the case but on a group of PCs the mail just never shows up in sent items
I have tried replicating the issue wit hnow luck (Always works for me)but we do have users that are getting this failure on thier laptops
