Magnetic tip screw drivers, good or bad when working on computers?
 
This has been discussed here before. I couldn't find the thread. It was probably deleted. The general consensus was that it doesn't cause any harm. A lot of PC tool kits have magnetic tip screwdrivers included.

Great! They'll pick out screws when they fall into strange places in the case. Never hurts any components.
 
They are an excellent tool. Just do not leave them inside when you close the case.
 
They work good for me. Make sure you keep them away from any floppy disks.
