Macromedia Flash Install

HI,
I'm running XP Pro with administrator rights and cannot seem to install macromedia flash. When I attempt to install from Macromedia.com the next page loads but the 'movie' never plays indicating successful installation. I have uninstalled any remnants of previous flash installations and have tried to change the activeX settings but can't get any combination to work.
Any ideas how to get flash installed...Thanks

one of those threads had a register key to delete and it worked. Subsequent installation was fine.
