Macro Security level in excel 1

Hi,

From the Tools menu - macro - security, could we change the level security with a macro or else. The better is to change the level to low before the sheet is opened to avoid the box asking to activate or not the macros associate with the sheet.

What would be the point if you could change the security level via a macro? The security would be meaningless if it was possible. A macro virus could simply disable the security features of excel and wreak havoc. You could sign your macros - have a search of your PC for SELFCERT.EXE

I tried to find the exe file, without success.
The problem, is when the excel sheet in sent to the final user, when he opens the sheet, if he decides not to activate the macro, all the roll-back will not be present on the "from server". Is only to avoid this opportunity that I want to put on low level before opening and restore to high level before quitting or closing..
About your exe, where to find it and how to use it ?

Thank for your reply. It gives a clear and non obvious idea about the subject. This was simply logic to not playing with security level. For the selfcert, you give me all what I needed.
So thank for this clear and intelligent support.
