Machine wont logon to the domain?

I have a windows 2000 domain and I am trying to have a client logon to the domain. I get the logon screen and enter the credentials and then it takes almost 20 min to login. It just sits there for a while and doesnt do anything. Just the blue background and the mouse pointer, not even an hour glass.

This has happened on a couple machines, but every other machine has no problem logon on. The network is fast and it is a brand new machine. Any Ideas??
