I have an MBE vendor that said they have a Nortel contact and stated that the M3904's are to be discontinued. I have not heard or seen anything, anyone have knowledge of this? I am wanting to replace all of my M2000's (We have an opt 61C) and really have no need for IP sets as we are a single building with only a few remote users...

Thanks,

RD

Just happened to be on a call with my vednor and Nortel and the Nortel rep said she has heard NOTHING about this. Sounds like someone wants you to do IP.

Even if they are discontinued(which I highly doubt) they will still be available for a long time from vendors that have shelf stock, and then you will still have refurb market availability.

Although I have seen nothing *new* in the works for TDM sets, I have not heard ANY talk about an MD of that series.

If and when that were to happen, the field would demand a very long advance notice due to the impact to the installed base.
