My first batch of 3904's that I've had for a while have a stickers on the phone that say: RLS 3, but no firmware number. Manufacture date is 2/28/2003
Months later I recv'd more phones that have an 8.3 firmware number and RLS 2 on the phone's sticker. Manufacture date 7/22/2003. The outside of the boxes all say rls 3 on this newest shipment, but the stickers say RLS 2. What release are these phones?
I plugged a sample from each shipment into the system and pulled up the options from the phones front panel and went into display diagnostics. It showed the same on both samples.
F/w version
feb 10 2002
Core: 8.3
Flash 8.3 to L1.7
Does this mean that the PBX automatically downloads the latest version of software stored in the PBX when the phone is first installed? Can anyone decipher this stuff?
I did an FSUM on ld 32 and the 3904 entry says:
046 - on Disk
083 (083) -000012 Sets found
What does the 046 on disk mean? Is that sw version 4.6?
What does the 083 and the (083) mean?
Can someone decipher these numbers for me? Thanks in advance.
