M2616CT ACD Set?

We have a M2616CT that has been floating around here unused and we are attempting to use it as a Supervisor Handset in a Call Center. Is it possible to use this as an ACD set?

I tried programming it just like I would a standard 2616, but I get no response when I hit the ACD button to log an agent in. The TN print is:

your removing the handset from the cradle?... haven't played with a ct in forever but there is no reason it shouldn't

I've tried it on the cradle, off the cradle, upside down, and even thought about trying it in zero-g... no luck.

Out the phone and rebuild as a standard telephone with unused internal DN. At least prove out the phone itself isnt your problem. Might have been the reason the phone has been floating around for so long.

Just tried that and it works as a standard phone (even with the DN on button 0, so it's not the button). I just can't seem to get it to be an ACD set.

zero-g can be tested by dropping it off of a building during test, that does prove the worth of the set

I tried your suggestion and it allowed me to begin to login... unfortunately,, we don't have a very tall building and it exploded into a million pieces before I could enter our Agent ID's to log it in.

This plan is sounding better and better...

The M2616CT does not support ACD according to the original product bulletin in 98
