Hi to all ,New to working on the Lucent products.Does any one no if there is a Lucent definity Fiber optic extender?We are trying to put a cabinet in another location and wanted to know if there is a device that can utilize multi mode fiber optics to extend the cabinet to 1 mile from the main cabinet.Does such a product exist and if so where can one be purchased.

There are 3 type of fiber transceivers offered by Avaya:
Short range transceivers are good for up to 5,000 feet.
Long range transceivers are good for up to 25,000 feet.
Single-mode transceivers are good for up to 21 miles. Single-mode is only available in V8 and above systems.
