<b>How can I find name of Display Adapter</b>

Hello,

I have recently re-installed windows98 and my dispaly adapter only gives me 16 colors. I know i need to get the proper driver but I cant find the name of my adapter.Is there any way of finding it without taknig my comp apart ?

Sometimes there is a splash screen at the beginning of powerup. Lots of times it is missed because the monitor is slow coming up.
If you have access to late DOS you might try msd.
