Has anyone come up with a fix for the Norstar LSDS and CLID trunk card failure for systems that are very close to the telephone central office. This is for the lines that have high ring trip current. I know that Nortel says that they have a resistive cable to use but if I know what that resistance is I could just build in some resistance.

Thank you for now.

I usually just set to Short CO. I haven't had many recurrent issues... The CO should be able to pad their pots, too.

Thanks for the "insider confirmation". I have run into CO techs out there that claim it can't be done. Those of us that have been around a while know better.
