I need some help in configuring a LS/DS card and finding out where the wiring goes.
Equipment:
Norstar Plus Modular ICS NT7B53
LS/DS Card
Connection to FXO on router.
Since the LS/DS cards do not come with a port on the card itself to plug into my FXO card on the router I need to know how to set-up the line and where to punch down for the line to get outbound and inbound calls.
I have a T1 card in physical slot 4, with corresponding software showing Module 2 Card 1, and is set-up and working. My LS/DS card is in physical slot 3, with software set-up as Module 2, Card 2, Card type loop. The system does see the card and shows 4 lines available. there is no option to provision individual lines. The t1 card has lines 1 - 8 available configured and working.
I have created pool A to use the T1 with dialing 77. Pool B is for the LS/DS with using 88.
I have three telco cable slots on the PBX with the first one handling internal phones 100 - 123, the second handling phones 124 - 132, and the third unused as far as I can see.
If somebody could tell me where I would have my cabling set-up so I could make sure the connecton to the FXO card is good I would really appreciate it. I am also unsure of how each of the lines are to be set-up in the software, so additional guidance would be greatly appreciated. I know that it uses line 28 to dial outbound calls, but when dialing I get dead air. I was told the LS/DS module was cabled to the third TELCO slot, but testing any of the pins does not show any signs of connectivity.
