Description of the Low Disk Space Notification in Windows XP

315688 - How to Locate and Correct Disk Space Problems on NTFS Volumes in Windows XP

There might be an applicaton your running that is affecting the windows clock. Third party screensavers come to mind.

Gaining time usually has the same causes as losing time. It is generally
related to some software installed on the system.

Unless, of course, the time change occurs when the system is shutdown. That would indicate the need for a new battery or a BIOS update.

There have been problems in the past with Dell Machines and time. Also some Anti Virus software has been known to cause problems. You can check it out at -
