Hi there! I've put together a few web pages and am testing them on a server, but there are about 30 browser check errors all relating to Netscape. Am I doing something wrong (other than bad coding!), or is there a way I can run a program through the code to take out/change the wrong code and update it with working code?

Do you mean that you have a routine for checking the browser and it is coming up with an error no matter which broswer you are using or do you mean that you are getting errors when using NS?

About the only thing that will cause an actual error in netscape is javascript. Some Layers stuff may not look right but shouldn't give you an error.

I stand to be corrected on anyting prior to this point, but that's my experience )

Is the page on the web where we can look at it or is the code BRIEF so you can post it?

Me? I can't even spell ASP!

is this a browsers preview test or DW code checking?

Sounds like DW code checking (the red underlines when looking at code view). Just check your pages in Netscape browsers (back to whatever version you want to support) to make sure they display properly. Most of these 'errors' are just attributes that are not recognized by NS and are therefore ignored. Doesn't usually affect the page view.

Peace
