Lots of Email to one User - HELP

One of the users in the company is recieving multiple copies of Emails. (Over the weekend she recieved 170!) The Email is always one that has been previously sent to the user but can be different Emails and this only happens from one particular contact.

I am now a little confused and wondered if anyone could help me with this. I am running Exchange 2000 on a windows 2000 advanced server box. I am not too sure what the person sending the mail is running as it is an external contact.

Could the problem be at our end or the external contact. Apparently the external contact says that this doesnt happen with anyone else, only our user.

Any help would be greatfully appreciated.

Looks like I get the same as you. Have you got anywhere?

I am investigating it my end so I will let you know if I find the problem.

The only thing that I have found so far is that there is some kind of problem with people that use Surf Control. I dont know what it is and personally we dont use it but there is something strange about it.

Just out of interest, the repeat sender is from baesystems.com. Your repeat sender isn't from there as well is it?

Any further progress on this?

I have just spoke with a guy from messagelabs who virus check our e-mail. He says that it may be something to do with the packet sizes and that we use a PIX firewall, he is going to find some documentation for me. Do you also have a PIX firewall?
