Lost my Volume icon... 1

After some stupid manipulation on my part, I lost my Volume & Control icon in my lower right taskbar. How can I get it back?

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Multimedia > on the "Audio" tab, make sure "Show volume control on the taskbar" is checked > Apply > Ok

No Show volume control on the taskbar on the audio tab I get?

Hmmm. Two other possibilities:

1) Go to Start > Run and type in sndvol32 -r > ok.

Ok! Thanks for the help! It was still there afterall, the icon (speaker) I was used to see was simply change by new software... Doh!
