I am getting an ODBC error(ODBC -- call Failed) when I attempt to open a SS2k linked table from Access97. If I try to re-link the tables via the linked table manager I get an error Application-defined or object-defined error.

These errors occur if I use a local copy of the Access.mdb. If I copy the file to the network and attempt to open the linked tables, I get no error. Ugh. [cannon]

I hope someone else has run across this and has found a solution. Please help.

Try deleting the datasource and creating a new datasource.
