Lost Lucent Intuity AUDIX Unix password?

We've lost the login password for our Intuity AUDIX MAP40. As I've checked with Avaya PDF, it only shows the MAP40 is directly booting up to the AUDIX login prompt instead of the UNIX promtp. So I was wondering if our MAP40 has any problem? or we do need to login id to get into the AUDIX application interface? Thanks for any advice.

Avaya can reset your password. I do not remember what the cost is.

Lucent hasn't provide any floppy disk for us.
