lost icons

Hi.

i switched on my station this morning and my word excel and access icons have disapeared. also every saved file i have doesnt have an icon.
is there anyway of rebuilding the icons? i am running win2k pro with office xp pro.

Try going to Add\remove programs-Select Office XP-Change-Select the "Repair" option.

before you say anything it was a last resort!. after trying what you said i got stressed that it didnt work so tried uninstalling it, that came up with error aswell so i tried manually removeing it. i deleted the office folder and reg keys that i could find but when i try to reinstall it it thinks its still installed and i cant do it because the same error comes up, does anyone have a list of reg keys that i need to delete or any advice.
