Greetings.

Due to a virus/exploit called MUTEX.EXE (goes by other names too), I have lost the ability to connect or map any drives. Connections via TCP\IP still work just fine, I can use Internet Explorer also. I just cannot connect to any network drive. Is there something I can re-install or something I can check to repair this without reloading the entire system?

Thanks in advance.

What OS are you running? If you are running WindowsXP, do a System Restore to a point at which things were working properly.

By the way, this is not a WINS/DNS/DHCP issue. It's probably a corruption/change of your TCP/IP stack or Workstation subsystem caused by the virus.
