I lost the ability to view thumbnails in folders. Please help.

Kento, I think he meant the problem he was having was when using "Windows Explorer".

mario_man,

What operating system are you using? There are a couple ways you can do this. The easiest way is once you're in the folder that has JPEGS or BITMAPS, go to the View menu at the top and select "as Web Page". That will place a checkmark in front.

If you want it turned on for all folders that have pictures, go to View->Folder Options, make sure Custom is selected, click Settings, and select "For all folders with HTML content". Then hit OK twice. [deejay]

Yes I know it's with Explorer. If the problem is that they lost the little thumbnail previews next to the file list then the reg file I talked about should fix it. If certain registry values are missing then you won't get the previews. Those values could have been deleted by the install/uninstall of a photo editor like Photoshop.

Had the very same problem.

Go to start-program-accessories-system tools-system information-Tools-
internet Explorer Repair Tool

That did it for me.

Kento, you are the man, your recommendation fixed my thumbnail problem. Was in the registry. Again Thanks to all who assisted or replied. Semper fi rod
