Under Windows 2k Pro, my cd drives decide to disappear due to not enough power or being disconnected (Windows 2k tells me when they get disconnected thru a pop-up). I have no clue why it does this, they still show up in Windows 98. I figure it may be my 300 watt antec psu. I have 3 case fans, one slot fan, one hard drive, dvd drive, cd-rw drive, Leadtek GF2 Pro, and an Epox 9k7a motherboard with an Athlon 1.2ghz. Could i be under enough wattage since AMDs need 300watts minimum? Any help would be great, thanks.

I'd guess you are at the minimum wattage and maybe W2k has greedy power management? I'd drop $30 on a 400W if I were you.
