High everybody!

We are devoloping a solution to capture and analize the secutiry logs of Windows 2000 Server.
The thing is we have noticed that sometimes we do an action (Usually when accessing files) that involves an event to be registered in the security registry and when you take a look at it there's no sign of any action. Somtimes it's registered and sometimes it isn't.

The only reason we can think is the Windows 2000 Server can not register all the events depending on load in that instant?

Any other reason?

Thanks.
