Hi All,

we have a shoretel system that, whilst it's working vaguely well for us I'd like to look at getting rid for a more mainstream system that's available in the UK. IS there anyway to use shoretel 230/230g on aura? either by system manager/session manager?

It's the main stumbling block that could stop me from getting rid of shoretel if i have to write off a large chunk of cash on phones..

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

I highly doubt it. Even if you could make them SIP, there would be a limited number of features available for them. Even if you could, it would be ugly.

What Kyle said - it'd be kind of ugly. To answer directly - If you can repurpose the Shoretel phones to pure SIP then you could get a basic basic feature set out of the Shoretel phones registered to Session Manager.

I thought as much, unfortunately the 230/230g phones sets can't be converted to sip.
