Looking for Software to Dial the Phone

I have a customer who is looking for software to store his contacts and to dial the phone for him. After the software dials the contact he will then use his speaker phone to make the call.

He currently uses Microsoft Phone Dialer, but is unhappy with it.

What does your customer not like about MPD and what does he want the new program to do? It would help in the recommendations made.

MPD is acting up. For example he has a contact that he entered. After entering the phone number in the ###-###-#### format MPD then added another phone number to the contact. It took the phone number he entered and took the dashes out and entered it as a fax number.

I can not figure out how to delete the fax number. I wasn't even able to figure out how multiple numbers could be added to a single contact so I am not sure how MPD added the fax number. I could only determine that MPD allows only one phone number per contact.

I tried deleting the contact and reentering it but MPD somehow remembered the deleted contact and reverted back to it. If I enter a new contact it seems to be fine.

Come to think of it Microsoft CD Player went bad too. When you insert a CD, CD player starts, but there is no sound. I wonder if his W2K installation is going bad. Maybe I should try repairing his W2K install.

To answer your question of what my customer wants to do.
