looking for printer driver

If you go to the HP site
Windows 2003 is not listed therefore not supported. You can always contact HP support as they can recommend a compatible driver for an older printer model, but you won't get all the features

This may or may not work in your situation, but I see no reason why not. I have used multiple drivers for WinXP on Win2K3 without any issues. XP and 2003 are the same OS - workstation and server versions.
For example, I have used touchpad, audio and video drivers on a notebook where it's owner wanted to have 2003 Server instead of XP, and no specific 2003 drivers were available.
Never had any problems.
If memory serves, you may have to run setup program in compatibility mode. Unless you install the driver via device manager by browsing to INF file.
