Looking for multimedia audio controller driver.

Recently i install win 2000. Everything came up well, except it is asking me for a Multimedia Audio Controller.I have searched a lot throuch the internet,I've tried downloading several drivers and nothing seems to work.I'm not sure of the sound card manufacturer (it's built into the motherboard).The mainboart i have is P6LX-A+ (it is what the name says on the manual so im guessing its right).My procesor is a Pentium II 400Hz.I hope the information i gave you is usefull.Please respond.

The motherboard manufacturer should have included a driver - have you checked the CD/floppies that caome with it?

What is the make and model of your board?
