Being a Clipper programmer - and now having to program in C for clipper S87 - I need the Microsoft C 5.1 compiler.
I have it on unreadable disks, I have the license agreement and the manuals but no more executables and or libraries.

Who can help me?

Why are your disks unreadable? Is it something like they are on 5.25" disks and your machine only has 3.5" disks. Someone out there may be able to convert them for you.

They are unreadable because of humidity and/or old age.
Lots of bad sectors and the first disk doesn't read at all.

It were 5.25 inch disks.

Unfortunately I lost my backups in a small fire some years ago.

The penny just dropped: you are looking for MSC5.1 not MSVC5. I have MSC5.1 - zipped up, it is about 3.5Mb. If you mail me on tech@cup.btinternet.co.uk I'll send it to you.

Thanks very much Xwb!
