We have a G3rV10 in US area code 210. We will soon be adding our branch offices (US area codes 210, 830, and 512) to our system.

The branch offices will be using VoIP, with an 8700 media server in my primary Definity cabinet and G700 Media Gateway/S8300 media server combo at each branch location.

My question is - can I configure the ARS and Route Patterns so that all calls for area code 210 go over the 210 trunks, all calls for area code 830 go over the 830 trunks, etc - regardless of where the call originates from within my system?

The answer (yes or no) will determine the order in which these locations are brought online.

Thanks in advance for your comments/advice.

In the ARS tables you specify the area codes and the route patterns.

In the route pattern you specify the trunk.

So if you set this up straight, it will work.
