Long Data Type in Impromptu

Hi,

I have column of Long data type in the datbase.I am using this as a text in my report.When I run this report the data available in the db is not coming fully, it is getting trucncated somewhere.Could any one please tell me why this is happeneing..


example I have 3000 char in the db , but in report its showing only 150 or 175 charchaters

I just did a test on one of our 1500-char DB2 columns.
I put 948 characters in it and all 948 showed up on the Impromptu report. The "length(text-field)" value was 948 also.
We have 7.1 MR2
There may be some ODBRC limitation.
I'll investigate further.
