Could you give us more details? What happens when a member of admin logs on? Glen A. Johnson

When any one logs in out side my local network here in HQ my scripts run ok. but when i go to a remote location my scripts do not run. i have configured everything i can think of. I really need to figure out this problem b/c i have to run an inventory program at logon. I have the script and i knopw it works, But when i login at a remote site it does not run .

How are the re-motes accessing the server? What happens when an admin logs on at the remotes? Glen A. Johnson

Is this over a vpn? Is there a DC in the remote locations?

it's not through VPN and There isn't a DC in the remote offices. The Remote Offices connect to our CBO through a 384k Line ATM connection.

When the admin logs on i see the script run but it doesn't apply or run the program im tryin to run.

Leave your regular logon scripts alone.

Just stick another batch file to run your program you want to run into:

HKEY LOCAL MACHINE>SOFTWARE>MICROSOFT>CURRENT VERSION>RUN ONCE

You should be able to do it from some Security or Group Policy. One of those has the option to set up something to RUN ONCE.
