What is the program called that asks you who you want to login as and the password when you start up? I would like to know the name and if it can be edited with a hex editor.

If this request is to "crack" a password, you likely won't get an answer here.

This was not intended to crack a password, I just wanted to edit my own system and delete the cancel button off of the startup window.

A 1/2 empty glass + 1/2 empty glass = 1 empty glass.

i bet you'll end up re-sintalling everything if you try to remove it with hex editor cuz there will be no revert if you screw things up. click this link if you want to force users to login to windows even if they press the cancel button.

hope this helps. peace! [peace]

You can also use poledit.exe with is safer than editing the registry. Under the network settings, require a logon.
