I have many remote users that use Outlook 2000 to access and Exchange 2000 Server. Thge users do not log into the Dmain, so they are prompted each time for Username, Password and Domain. I have noticed on some PC's the Username and DOmain is saved each time they login, they only type the password. I do not see where the setting is to do this for all users, I do not know why it is doing it on some PC's and not others.

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

What operating system? Check the local security policy if you are using a current OS. secpol.msc.

Local Policies - Security Options - Do not display last user name on logon screen

I am using Windows 2000 Pro SP3 with all the latest Patches. I will lokk at that policy, I wasn't aware it controls Outlook 2000. Thanks

I looked at the policy you stated and is it currently disabled, which I beleive means it would display the last logion, is that correct? I thought that setting was only for the initial Logon to Windows not Outlook but either way it is not effecting Outlook, please let me know if you have any other suggestions, I appreciate your help

OK...that was just a guess. Shame on me for not researching it a bit more.

Hopefully this article will answer your question correctly.
